Spiced Nuts

These are a great snack enjoyed at any time of the year. If you don’t like things spicy, cut back on the cayenne pepper.


  • 2 cups each Whole Almonds and Pecans

  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar

  • 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

  • 1 tsp each Cayenne, Cumin, Paprika and Salt


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Heat vinegar and sugar in a pan over medium-low heat.

  3. Add cayenne, cumin, paprika and salt to the pan.

  4. Add nuts and stir to coat. Continue stirring for about 5 minutes until the nuts are covered and sticky.

  5. Spread the nuts as flat as possible on a parchment covered cookie sheet.

  6. Bake in the oven for about 15 min.

  7. When the nuts are cool, break apart any that are stuck together. Enjoy!
