Easy Prune Cookies


These cookies are easy enough to make and would be a great way to get your kids in the kitchen to help. They're nice and chewy and can be enjoyed for a quick breakfast.

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a food processor, pulse the prunes and hot water until smooth. Pulse in oats and walnuts until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Roll dough into 12 balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Immediately after removing from the oven, tap each of them down with a glass to form a circular shape and let cool. 


  • 16 Pitted Prunes
  • 2 tbsp Hot Water
  • 1 cup Large Flake Oats
  • ¼ cup Walnuts, chopped
